Nokia C3

If you’re looking for a full QWERTY phone that fits your lifestyle and budget then I suggest you buy the Nokia C3, the newest and cheapest full qwerty phone from Nokia. The Nokia C3 phone comes in 3 different and stylish colors: hot pink, slate gray and golden white. All variants of the C3 have metallic finish at the front and two-colored designs on the back portion.

There is an aluminum battery cover in the middle and the rest is black plastic, including the sides. The design itself is pretty decent for a cheap qwerty phone; its glossy metallic finish makes it look expensive and stylish. Nokia C3′s screen measures 2.4 inches and has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels with 262,144 color display. It has built-in music player and FM radio, and has a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack slot. The phone is WiFi and Bluetooth ready with GPRS/EDGE only and no 3G for mobile internet connectivity.

The Nokia C3 phone runs on Symbian S40 OS, still the most widespread mobile platfrom in the world. A cheap alternative for the Blackberry. The Finnish developers made sure that this phone would be an instant hit for the masses due to its social networking and emailing capabilities. One of the features that make this phone more interesting is called ‘Communities,’ wherein you can add your social networking accounts like Facebook and Twitter and post updates via your phones selected mobile internet network or Wifi. There’s also an @ feature that enables you to add your email accounts like Gmail, Yahoo!Mail, Hotmail, and Ovi and receive emails instantly when you’re online. Instant messaging is also available using GTalk, Yahoo Messenger, MSNLive, and Ovi.

What’s even more interesting is that you can use two Facebook accounts on simultaneously and just switch between them, as well as Twitter. The pre-installed Facebook app is very useful when it comes to status updates, wall-to-wall posting, sending messages, checking events, seeing notifications and uploading pictures taken from the phone’s camera. You can also login to your Email accounts and IMs at the same time and have them push data when you’re connected to the internet. Taking photos with its 2mp camera is not as bad as it looks. You can even share your photos with your friends via Facebook, chat, and email. When it comes to standard web browsing, the Nokia C3 uses a pre-installed Opera Mini browser, which is an excellent choice of a browser, as it renders the pages on its own servers and sends them over compressed and bite-sized.
